Golf Rehab and Performance Training in Arlington, TX
Play More Golf. Feel Better Doing It.
MyPhysio's Golf Rehab and Performance program is run by Dr. Jared Cave, TPI-Certified Medical and Fitness Professional (Level 2). This isn't standard PT repackaged - this is golf-specific rehab, strength, mobility, and conditioning work that translates directly to the teebox.

What Keeps Golfers Off the Course or Stuck at the Same Level
Pain That Never Fully Goes Away
Back pain, elbow soreness, hip tightness — golfers often play through it for months, hoping it resolves on its own. It usually doesn't. When pain limits your backswing, changes your setup, or ends rounds early, it's not a swing flaw — it's a body problem that needs to be addressed.
General Fitness That Doesn't Transfer to the Course
Standard gym programs aren't designed around the demands of the golf swing. If your training doesn't account for rotational strength, hip mobility, and single-leg stability, the fitness gains don't show up on the course the way they should.
Losing Distance With No Clear Fix
Distance loss is often blamed on swing mechanics but the swing can only do what the body allows. Restrictions in thoracic rotation, hip mobility, or shoulder range of motion show up in your clubhead speed. A comprehensive Golf Health Assessment identifies what's holding your body back from executing the swing you want.
What MyPhysio Golf Performance Looks Like
The Golf Health Assessment is the starting point — a 60- or 90-minute evaluation combining a TPI Movement and Swing Assessment with a physical therapy examination. From there, your clinician builds a program specific to what your body needs: mobility work, rotational strength, hip and core conditioning, or injury rehabilitation. The program can be delivered one-on-one, in small group classes of four to six golfers, or through remote coaching for players who don't need in-person sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about golf performance training and the Golf Health Assessment at MyPhysio.
What is a Golf Health Assessment?
A Golf Health Assessment is a 60- or 90-minute evaluation that combines a TPI Movement and Swing Assessment with a comprehensive full-body assessment. It identifies how your body moves during the golf swing and highlights physical limitations that may be affecting performance or contributing to pain. You leave with a clear understanding of the findings and a specific plan to address them.
Do I need to be injured to come in?
No. Many golfers come to MyPhysio because they want to improve performance, not because they're injured. Golf-specific strength and mobility programming is available for healthy players who want to add distance, play more rounds, or build a physical foundation that carries over to the course.
Is remote coaching available?
Yes. Online strength and conditioning programming is available for golfers who don't need or want in-person sessions. Jared builds a customized program based on your assessment findings, which you can follow on your own schedule. Remote coaching is a good option for players who travel or want programming they can do at their home gym or club.
Are small group golf fitness classes available?
Yes. Small group golf fitness classes are offered for groups of four to six players. These sessions deliver golf-specific strength and mobility training in a group format — a more affordable option than individual sessions, with the same TPI-informed programming. Contact MyPhysio to ask about current class availability and scheduling.
What level of golfer is this for?
All levels. MyPhysio works with recreational golfers, competitive amateurs, and everyone in between. Whether you play twice a year or twice a week, the goal is the same — a more durable body, less pain, and a program that carries over to how you actually play. No handicap requirement.
