Physical Therapy in Arlington, TX
You Don't Have to Stop Training
Every visit is a dedicated 60-minute session with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy. Your therapist guides your care from assessment through discharge, combining expert evaluation, hands-on treatment, and personalized performance-focused programming tailored to your goals.

Why Generic PT Leaves Active People Back Where They Started.
Passive Care That Misses the Problem
Heat packs, ultrasound, and stretching routines treat the symptom. When the plan never addresses where the problem starts, the pain quiets down — and then comes right back the moment you load the movement again.
Shared Sessions Mean Divided Attention
In a high-volume clinic, your PT is managing three patients at once. You get 10 minutes of hands-on time and the rest on a machine. That is not how you rebuild strength and get back to training at full capacity.
Being Told to Just Stop
Stopping is not a treatment plan. If the advice you keep getting is to rest, avoid the gym, or just take it easy — and the pain keeps coming back — something more specific needs to happen. You need a plan that keeps you moving.
How MyPhysio PT Actually Works
Every treatment plan at MyPhysio starts with a full-body assessment that identifies what's actually driving your pain — not just where it hurts. From there, your clinician builds a plan using hands-on techniques and therapeutic exercise. The goal is to restore movement, rebuild strength, and get you back to training without a list of things you can't do.

Who Comes to MyPhysio for Physical Therapy
People come to MyPhysio when they are dealing with pain from lifting, running, or sport that keeps getting in the way of training. They have often tried rest, tried other PT, and are frustrated that nothing has fully resolved. Common areas include shoulder pain from pressing movements, back pain from deadlifts or squats, and knee pain from running or squatting. Post-surgical return to activity and chronic recurring pain are also a focus — especially for patients who want to stay active throughout the process.

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about physical therapy at MyPhysio.
Do I need a doctor's referral to start PT?
No referral is needed to get started. In Texas, physical therapists can evaluate and treat patients for up to two weeks without a prescription. If your care extends beyond that, MyPhysio will coordinate with your physician to ensure continuity. You can book a free discovery call and get started right away.
Does MyPhysio take insurance?
MyPhysio is a cash-based practice — we do not bill insurance directly. We accept credit card, debit card, HSA, FSA, and Medicare. Superbills are available for patients who want to submit for out-of-network reimbursement. Some plans reimburse a significant portion of the cost.
Will I have to stop training while I'm in PT?
Not if we can help it. Treatment is designed around keeping you active throughout the process. Your clinician will modify where needed and load progressively — but stopping training is not the default. Most patients continue their sport or training routine with adjustments during their plan of care.
What does a first visit at MyPhysio look like?
Your first visit is a 60-minute full-body assessment. Your physical therapist will identify what's driving the pain, explain what they find in plain language, and begin building a personalized treatment plan. Many patients receive hands-on treatment during the evaluation itself — you will not leave with just a list of exercises.
How is MyPhysio different from a typical PT clinic?
At MyPhysio, every session is one-on-one with the same physical therapist for a full 60 minutes. No techs, no shared sessions, no insurance-driven limits on your care. Your clinician works directly with you, every visit, with a plan that is built around your goals — not a generic protocol.
